Cunningham Lifts Rawhide to 8-0 Triumph
The Visalia Rawhide got their 2025 season off and running with a win over the Bakersfield Blaze at Recreation Park. The final score was 8-0. Visalia designated hitter P.J. Cunningham, in particular, had a fine performance.

Mike Knapp had a big 2-run double for the Rawhide in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Visalia leading 2-0 and the bases loaded, he got a curveball from Jimmy Smith and swatted a double to left. It was his 1st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Rawhide ahead, 4-0.

"We came out aggressive," said Rawhide manager . "We came out swinging the bats."
