Starter José Guillén was sensational for the St. Lucie Mets in his team's 4-0 triumph over the Lakeland Flying Tigers in Game 2 of the Round 2. Guillén pitched well, but St. Lucie picked up the win to take a 2-0 lead in the series.

Guillén, the St. Lucie right-hander, went 7.1 innings, allowing no runs on 5 hits. He collected 6 strikeouts.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said Lakeland skipper Donald Lutz, "and it cost us."

Game 3 is scheduled for Friday at Tradition Field in Port St. Lucie.
