Winston-Salem Tops Myrtle Beach Again, 10-2
The Winston-Salem Dash moved to within one game of the Round 2, downing the visiting Myrtle Beach Pelicans at New Winston-Salem Ballpark by a score of 10-2. Dash left-hander Ken Peterson had a strong outing in which he threw 8.2 innings of 4-hit ball. The win gives the Dash a 2-0 advantage in the best-of-5 Round 1.

Peterson was in the zone all game. He frustrated Myrtle Beach hitters while giving the Dash 8.2 innings of quality work. Peterson threw 113 pitches, allowing 4 hits and getting 6 punchouts.

"Ken is tough to beat when he's hitting his spots," said Winston-Salem manager Brent Metheny.
