Lynchburg Needs 11 Innings to Subdue Frederick in Game 1
The Lynchburg Hillcats took the first game of the Round 1 in dramatic fashion, topping the Frederick Keys, 4-3, in an extra-inning walk-off win. Hillcats right fielder Steve Cobb went 4-5 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk.

The two teams entertained the Ed Smith Stadium crowd with some good baseball.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Lynchburg manager Nick Markakis. "It's usually not just one thing."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Ed Smith Stadium in Lynchburg.
