Rancho Cucamonga Advances to Round 2
The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes are one step closer to winning a Round 2, and the season came to a close for the Lancaster JetHawks.

Rancho Cucamonga won the Round 1 3-1, with a 5-3 victory in the deciding game at The Hanger today.

Rancho Cucamonga shortstop Jim Christensen was named the MVP of the series, after hitting .467 with a .467 on-base percentage. He had 2 homers, drove in 5 RBI and scored 3 runs.

"I just hope I can keep it up in the Round 2," he said.

The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the San Jose Giants - Bakersfield Blaze series. Bakersfield leads the series 2 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
