Bakersfield Win Evens Series at 1
The Bakersfield Blaze knotted up the Round 1 at San Jose Municipal Stadium, thanks in large part to starter Steve Woodard. Woodard quieted the San Jose Giants, enabling Bakersfield to grab the 7-0 win and move into a 1-1 tie in the best-of-5 series.
