Brewers Get Past Missoula for 5-4 Win
The Helena Brewers topped the Missoula Osprey by the score of 5-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to third baseman Ed Hampton. Hampton was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Brewers on the day. Helena reliever José Martínez picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Ronnie Morrison absorbed the loss. Cedric Young earned the save, his 3rd.

Helena took a 5-4 lead on Mike Stokes's 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Missoula pitcher Ronnie Morrison in the bottom of the eighth.

"If I do my job, we've usually got a good chance to win the game," said Hampton.
