Voyagers Take Tight Tilt, 7-6
The Billings Mustangs got a superb performance from second baseman Jon Rhodes, but the Great Falls Voyagers still won the game, 7-6. Rhodes went 5-5 with 2 doubles and 3 singles. The winner in relief was Kieran Avery. He is now 2-2. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 1.2 innings. The Voyagers bumped their record to 12-8 with this latest triumph.

Jeff Picot was the walk-off hero for Great Falls. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Voyagers second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Billings manager John Holdzkom. "But we decided not to take it."
