Art Horton was nothing short of phenomenal for the Helena Brewers. The 20-year-old right-hander was a big reason his team beat the Missoula Osprey, 6-0. Horton yielded no runs over 5 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 0, and struck out 5. His record improves to 1-1. Ben Norman got credit for the save for Helena. It was his 1st of the year.

Geoff Walker, who is tied for 5th in the PIO in runs scored with 14, took Missoula hurler Mike Terry deep in the bottom of the second. His 3-run home run put the Brewers on top, 3-0. In all, Walker had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
