Voyagers Need Extra Frames to Get Past Mustangs
|
The Great Falls Voyagers, despite a fine performance by Billings pitcher Jon Rhodes, grabbed a 3-1 win at Dehler Park. Rhodes allowed 1 run over 9 innings. The loss drops Billings to 2-2.
Manny Nájera had a direct impact on the outcome. Nájera contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the 15th inning to put Great Falls up, 2-1.
"Exciting game to play in," said Nájera. "Getting the win makes it even better."
