|
Helena got a terrific game from catcher Geoff Walker. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Billings, 4-3. Walker went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. With the loss, Helena drops to 1-2.
The Mustangs got a clutch hit from right fielder Jesse Auger. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Mustangs.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Auger told the Billings Bulletin.
