Brewers Hope Opening Day Win Bodes Well for Season
The Billings Mustangs inaugurated their 2025 season with a tough 4-3 loss to the Helena Brewers at Dehler Park. Starting Pitcher Ismael Martínez had perhaps the best performance for Helena. Dan Johnston closed the door for Helena, picking up his 1st save of the year.

With one out in the top of the fourth, Jim Jenkins put Helena in front, 1-0, with a run-scoring single. The Brewers went on to win the ballgame.

Jenkins attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
