The New Britain Rock Cats beat the Trenton Thunder, 10-9, at New Britain Stadium. New Britain third baseman Dave Harrison collected 4 singles and 1 double with 1 run batted in. With the win over Trenton, the Rock Cats improved to 89-48.

The Rock Cats got a clutch hit from pinch hitter Gil Greggio. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Rock Cats.

"We came out aggressive," said Rock Cats manager Gary Kendall. "We came out swinging the bats."
