					| Big Day for Bolden in 6-3 Fightin Phils Win |  
					| The Reading Fightin Phils dealt the Richmond Flying Squirrels a 6-3 loss at Senator Thomas J. Dodd Memorial Stadium. Stan Bolden  was the star on offense. He went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Dave Steward, the winner, is now 14-5. He struck out 8 and walked 1 over 7.2 innings, while allowing 3 runs on 9 hits. Tony Martínez, who is tied for 3rd in the EL in saves with 21, earned the save for Reading. 
 In the top of the 5th, Reading took the lead on a 2-run  single by Oscar Cotes. At the time, the Fightin Phils were trailing 3-2, but Cotes's hit with two outs against Richmond pitcher Pat Bryant put them in front, 4-3.
 
 "It was a solid, all-around game for us," said Reading manager Shaun Larkin.
