The Erie SeaWolves defeated the Reading Fightin Phils, 15-6, in part because of second baseman Willie Kilmister. Kilmister was 1-2 with a triple and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for the SeaWolves. António Hernández claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits in 4.2 innings. His record stands at 3-3. The winning streak has now reached 5 games for the SeaWolves.

With Erie leading 7-6 in the bottom of the sixth, Kilmister hit a fastball from Ángelo Pérez for a bases-clearing triple. It was his 2nd triple of the season and put the SeaWolves ahead, 10-6.
