Owens K's 10 En Route to 3-0 RubberDucks Win
|
Henry Owens imposed his will on the Curve from the get-go. Relying mainly on his changeup, the left-hander spearheaded the 3-0 Akron triumph. The RubberDucks, at 60-40, have now won 5 straight.
Owens allowed no runs on 5 hits over 8 innings for the RubberDucks. With the win, he is 6-2 with an ERA of 2.08.
"It's always a heck of a lot easier to get to sleep after a win," Owens told the Akron Today. "I know I'll rest easy tonight."
