Binghamton and Bowie took Mother Nature's best shot and still managed to complete their ballgame.

Danny Jones, who is tied for 9th in the EL with a .379 on-base percentage, took Bowie hurler José Calderón deep in the bottom of the second. His 2-run home run put the Mets on top, 2-0. In all, Jones had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.

Binghamton manager Lee Tinsley commended his team for delivering "maximum effort."
