Fisher Cats Take Home 2-1 Win Over Harrisburg
The Harrisburg Senators wasted an impressive 8-inning effort from starter José Vargas, falling, 2-1, to the New Hampshire Fisher Cats at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium. Bo Ferguson went 6 innings, allowing 1 run on 4 hits. The right-hander, who is tied for 6th in the EL in innings pitched with 124.2, struck out 6 and walked 4. With the win, he's now 6-7 this season. Greg Thomas recorded the save, making him 23 for 25.

The Fisher Cats got a big at-bat from first baseman Micker Adolfo. For the game, Adolfo went 1-3 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 12th home run of the season gave New Hampshire a 2-0 lead.

"Tough loss," said Harrisburg manager Joe Mikulik. "This one will sting for a while."

The Fisher Cats bumped their record to 50-40 with this latest triumph.
