The New Hampshire Fisher Cats cut down the Akron RubberDucks by the score of 16-3, with the largest share of the credit going to left fielder Hugo Perales. Perales slugged 3 home runs. He drove in 9 runs and scored three times for the Fisher Cats. Alex Osborne picked up his 1st save of the season. New Hampshire, now 46-37, holds down third place in the Northern Division.

With New Hampshire leading 10-3 in the top of the eighth, Perales came up to bat against Akron pitcher Lúcio Rivera. Perales hit a fastball to right-center for a grand slam home run. His 15th home run of the season put the Fisher Cats on top, 14-3.

"Hugo showed up tonight," said New Hampshire manager Mark Budzinski.
