Candelario, Thunder March to 8-3 Victory
Behind the bravura of first baseman Jeimer Candelario, the Trenton Thunder topped the New Britain Rock Cats by the score of 8-3. Candelario went 3 for 3 with 2 doubles and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Thunder. Trenton pitcher Augusto Díaz got the win, upping his record to 5-5. Brad Mason got the loss. With the win, the Thunder have a record of 44-32.
