Deason Delivers Walk-Off Win for Mets
The New Britain Rock Cats got a superb performance from pitcher Mitch Galloway, but the Binghamton Mets still won the game, 4-3. Galloway threw 6.0 innings of shutout ball. Binghamton reliever Luis Lucero was the winner. His record is now 3-1. The losing pitcher was Brad Fountain. The Mets now have a record of 35-40 with the win over New Britain.

The decisive blow was delivered by Shawn Deason in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off 25-year old right-handed pitcher Brad Fountain to win the game for Binghamton. The home crowd went nuts.

"That's how to finish a ballgame," said Deason.
