The RubberDucks got a big at-bat from first baseman Luis Carlos. For the game, Carlos went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 15th double of the season gave Akron a 2-1 lead.
