McInnis Pops Two Homers in 18-1 Win for New Hampshire
The New Hampshire Fisher Cats buried the Bowie Baysox, 18-1, under a barrage of hits. Kevin McInnis led the onslaught, going 3-for-6 for New Hampshire. Williams Mendoza, the winning pitcher, is now 6-5. He went 7.2 innings, allowing 1 run on 6 hits, while fanning 2 and walking 2. The win puts New Hampshire at 34-28 this season.

In the top of the second, Steve Johnson delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and the bases loaded, the New Hampshire second baseman hit a 2-run single, putting the Fisher Cats in front, 18-1.

"That effort on our part," said losing manager Jack McDowell, "stunk to high heaven."
