					| Erie Loss Tarnishes Fine Game by Martínez |
					| Erie second baseman Alfredo Martínez was sensational. He was 3-3 with 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Richmond beat the SeaWolves, 7-6. The Flying Squirrels now have a record of 28-33 with the win over Erie.
In the bottom of the fifth, Richmond shortstop Orlando López had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, López stroked a run-scoring single to center. It made the score 6-4, Richmond. For the game, he was 1 for 4.

"It's always extra special to win at home," said López.
