The fans at Canal Park witnessed quite a game.

Akron first baseman Jesús Castro contributed significantly to his team's 6-2 win over the Erie SeaWolves. Castro went 1 for 3 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the RubberDucks. Lúcio Rivera, 1-1, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.1 innings.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Castro hit a slider from Keone Kela for a grand slam home run. The RubberDucks, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"The fans went nuts at the end," Castro said.

Akron is now 24-34, while Erie is 38-22.
