Storm Chasers Earn Late Win
The New Orleans Zephyrs got a superb performance from pitcher Ron Hill, but the Omaha Storm Chasers still won the game, 7-6. Hill threw 7.0 innings allowing 3 runs. The Zephyrs, now 60-74, have lost 5 in a row.

The Storm Chasers got a clutch hit from shortstop Cliff Jones. In the bottom of the 11th, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Storm Chasers.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said New Orleans manager Jody Reed. "The effort was great."
