Right-hander Holden Helmink mesmerized the Las Vegas 51s while leading the Reno Aces to a 6-0 victory. Helmink got the win, improving to 6-14. He gave up 6 hits and walked 2 over 8 innings. He allowed no runs. The Aces raised their record to 52-78.

Chris Bailey had a big 2-run double for the Aces in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Reno leading 1-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a slider from 33-year old left-handed pitcher Henry Owens and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 30th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Aces ahead, 3-0.
