Salt Lake Wins, 9-6, in Extra Innings
Don Ramírez was instrumental in his team's 9-6, extra-inning triumph over the Tacoma Rainiers. The center fielder went 3-3 with 2 doubles and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs for the Salt Lake Bees. Reliever Mike Hess picked up the win. His record improves to 8-1. Wes Poe, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2022 draft, took the loss. The wins continue to add up for Salt Lake. The game was at a stalemate until first baseman Jesús Milanes came to bat in the top of the 12th. Facing Tacoma pitcher Wes Poe, he hit a 1-1 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Salt Lake on top, 7-6.

"Enjoyed this one," Ramírez told the Salt Lake Daily. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
