Behind an impressive start by Mike Wilson, Fresno beat El Paso, 7-0. The Pacific Conference South Division-leading Grizzlies have a record of 66-53.

Wilson, who leaned on his splitter, allowed no runs on just 2 hits over 8.2 innings for the Grizzlies. For the most part, El Paso hitters were simply overmatched.

"Mike was hitting his spots," said Fresno manager Kevin Cash. "It's hard to pitch better than that."
