Bees Get One-Run Win at Reno
Salt Lake beat Reno at Aces Ballpark, escaping with a 6-5 win. The win in large part was due to right fielder Eric Scales. He went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The first-place Bees have a one-game lead in their division.

With Salt Lake leading 3-0 in the top of the third, Scales hit a fastball from Joe Bernard for a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Bees ahead, 6-0.

"My job is to go out and play as hard as I can for the Bees," said Scales.
