In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.

Starting pitcher Ty Blach was a major factor in the 10-2 Sacramento River Cats triumph over the Iowa Cubs. With the victory, the River Cats record now stands at 50-63.

Miguel Flames had a nice at-bat for the River Cats with no one out in the bottom of the fifth. With the bases empty, the catcher hit a solo home run, which would prove important in the Sacramento win.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Flames told the Sacramento Citizen. "It's as simple as that."
