The Albuquerque Isotopes earned a win at Isotopes Park, knocking off the Las Vegas 51s, 11-5. On the bump for Albuquerque was left-hander Steve Miller. He had a starring role in the triumph. The winner was Miller. He threw 8.0 innings of 6-hit ball. The loser was Jeff McCray. With the win, the Isotopes have a record of 56-54.

Sancho Acosta had a big 2-run triple for the Isotopes in the bottom of the second inning. With Albuquerque leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a fastball from Jeff McCray and swatted a triple to left-center. It was his 2nd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Isotopes ahead, 3-0.

"We maximized our offense today," said Albuquerque skipper Matt Merullo. "That makes everyone's life easier."
