The Iowa Cubs and Salt Lake Bees completed their game despite the inclement weather.

The Iowa Cubs defeated the Salt Lake Bees, 6-4. Doing his part was left fielder Phil Ferris, who was 3 for 3 with 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs. Dave Davis, who went 5 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 4 runs on 6 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 4. His record now stands at 8-7.
