The rain came, as predicted, but the Reno Aces and New Orleans Zephyrs were able to complete their ballgame.

The Reno Aces beat the New Orleans Zephyrs, 6-4, in 11 innings at Zephyr Field. Bobby MacDonald, in particular, was impressive. He went 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The winner was Don Forrest in relief. His record improves to 3-5. Caleb Williams took the loss.

Pancho Soto hit a 2-run triple off Caleb Williams in the top of the 11th, which put the Aces in front, 6-4. Soto had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.

In postgame remarks, Soto simply said: "Here's to a great win!"

The third-place Aces improved to 44-57.
