Nashville Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The Nashville Sounds weathered an outstanding game by Tacoma left fielder Rubén Delaunay to topple the Rainiers, 5-4. Delaunay was 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Joe Warren picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 5-1. Robbie Jones suffered the loss. The win elevated the Sounds to 52-48.

With a runner on 2nd in the bottom of the ninth, Jake Reynolds delivered the knockout blow when he hit a run-scoring single to win it for Nashville. In the contest, Reynolds went 2 for 4 with a triple and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"The game is never over 'til it's over," said a jubilant Steve Scarsone, the Nashville skipper.
