Brandt Now 11-6 After Beating Express
Clint Brandt, who is tied for 10th in the PC in complete games with 2, imposed his will on the Express from the get-go. Relying mainly on his changeup, the right-hander spearheaded the 2-0 El Paso triumph. El Paso is second in the Pacific Conference North Division with a record of 56-43.

Brandt dominated for El Paso, raising his record to 11-6. Round Rock hitters had few good at-bats against the right-hander, who scattered 3 hits over 8 innings while striking out 9.

"Clint's not intimidated by who's stepping into the batter's box," said El Paso manager Andy Hayes.
