Joe Turner had a good game, but he could not keep the El Paso Chihuahuas from falling, 7-6, to the Reno Aces at Aces Ballpark. The El Paso left fielder was 2-3 with a home run, a double, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once in the loss. With the win, the Aces improved to 42-54.

José López was the walk-off hero for Reno. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Aces catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said López, "and then get after it again."
