Big Day for Petersen in 14-6 Grizzlies Win
Fresno first baseman Bob Petersen had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Tacoma Rainiers, 14-6. Fresno leads the Pacific Conference South Division by 8 games.

The Rainiers had been locked in a 4-4 tie with the Grizzlies going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 27-year old center fielder Steve Walker came to the plate. Walker hit a run-scoring double on a 1-0 fastball from Tacoma hurler Alfredo Jiménez. It was Walker's 16th double of the year.

"I still think this team can play even better," Walker told the Fresno Herald.
