Herta Goes Off, But River Cats Win
The inspired effort of Colorado Springs left fielder Luis Herta was not enough to prevent a loss, 11-10, to the Sacramento River Cats. Herta went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Shawn Kendall notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 4 runs on 5 hits in 2 innings. His record now sits at 1-1.
