River Cats Get 6-4 Win Versus Salt Lake
|
The Salt Lake Bees could not turn a fine performance from left fielder Don Ramírez into a win. Instead, the Sacramento River Cats prevailed, 6-4. Ramírez was 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Esteban Correa earned the win to go to 6-6. He allowed 2 runs on 5 hits, with 3 walks and 5 strikeouts in 8 innings of work. Jake Snow notched his 1st save in 1 chances.
Steve Norrish, who is tied for 10th in the PC in extra base hits with 29, came through for Sacramento with a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth. The right fielder went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 2 runs and collected 1 run batted in.
