Las Vegas 51s starter José Ferrer was in the groove. He led his team to a win over the Salt Lake Bees, 5-2. Ferrer got the win, improving to 2-0. He gave up 6 hits and walked 3 over 5.2 innings. He allowed 2 runs. With the victory, the 51s upped their record to 41-39.
