Sacramento starter Esteban Correa pitched well against the Fresno Grizzlies at Chukchansi Park. The right-hander led his team to a win, 7-3. The third-place River Cats sport a record of 31-43.

Ken Evans had a big run-scoring double for the River Cats in the top of the second inning. With Sacramento leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a circle change from Geoff Johnson, who is tied for 4th in the PC in innings pitched with 105.1, and swatted a double to left. It was his 9th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the River Cats ahead, 2-0.

"I had pretty good command out there," said Correa.
