Darryl Wright had a good game, but he could not keep the Salt Lake Bees from falling, 10-7, to the Colorado Springs Sky Sox at Security Service Field. The Salt Lake right fielder was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 in the loss. The winner was Colorado Springs reliever Don Whaley, now 1-0. The loser was Leonardo González. Víctor González picked up his 5th save of the season.

In the bottom of the fifth, Jesús Guerra delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 2nd and 3rd, the Colorado Springs designated hitter hit a 2-run single, putting the Sky Sox in front, 10-7.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Sky Sox manager Brian Falkenborg. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."

Colorado Springs is now 26-37. Salt Lake is 38-25.
