A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Omaha Storm Chasers and Memphis Redbirds.

The Omaha Storm Chasers defeated the Memphis Redbirds, 11-4, at Werner Park. Omaha designated hitter Tony Lucero had a superb performance. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Omaha is third in the American Conference North Division with a record of 29-33.

First Baseman Dave Moon made an impact for Omaha, when he swatted a 3-run home run off Casey Shane in the bottom of the third. For the contest, Moon was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.

"It's always great to put the barrel on the ball and contribute," said Lucero.
