Aces Get Past Iowa for 5-4 Win
The Reno Aces topped the Iowa Cubs, 5-4, in Pacific Conference action at Aces Ballpark. The standout performance belonged to Reno pitcher and Bartlett, Tennessee, native Joe Bernard. Reno, with the win, is 13-36.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Reno second baseman José Gómez, facing Sergio García, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Aces the 5-4 win.

Reno manager Ruben Niebla commended his team for "banging out a nice win."
