The Sacramento River Cats and starting pitcher Esteban Correa stifled the Memphis offense en route to a comfortable 9-1 win at Raley Field. Sacramento is now 18-27, Memphis 22-23.

Early in the game, second baseman Mario Pacheco had a run-scoring double for Sacramento. It was his 4th double of the season and put the River Cats on top, 1-0.

"It was a tough day, no getting around it," said losing manager Aaron Thompson.
