Isotopes catcher Sancho Acosta left his mark on his team's 5-2 win over the Sacramento River Cats. Acosta went 2 for 4 with a triple, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for Albuquerque in the contest. Milo Sykes collected save number 10. Sacramento has now lost 5 consecutive games.
With Albuquerque trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Acosta hit a fastball from Esteban Correa for a 2-run triple. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Isotopes ahead, 2-1.
"It feels good to get this one," Acosta told the Albuquerque Herald.
