|
The Reno Aces beat the Oklahoma City Dodgers, 5-4, in part because of designated hitter Luis Álvarez. He was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The win has Reno at 9-28.
Phil Leighton hit a 2-run triple off Alex Durham in the top of the fifth, which put the Aces in front, 4-2. Leighton had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Oklahoma City manager Mitch Moreland said, following the tough loss.
