The Memphis Redbirds beat the Round Rock Express, 10-3, at Dell Diamond. Memphis center fielder Rikyu Ichihara had the hot bat. He went 2-5 with a triple and a double. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. Oscar Berg closed it out for his 1st save. Memphis is now 14-18. Round Rock is 16-16.

With Memphis leading 4-2 in the top of the fourth, Ichihara hit a changeup from Mike Miller for a bases-clearing double. It was his 3rd double of the season and put the Redbirds ahead, 7-2.

"We'll grab a cold beverage tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Ichihara said.
