Starting pitcher Jon Reed gave the Erie SeaWolves a rock-solid performance, helping his team defeat the Altoona Curve, 3-0, at People's Natural Gas Field. Dylan Nash was called on to finish, recording his 3rd save. Altoona, with the loss, is still a hardy 5-1.

Reed allowed no runs on 2 hits over 8 innings for the SeaWolves. He walked 1 and struck out 7.

"Jon was really attacking guys' weaknesses and he didn't leave a lot of balls over the plate," said Erie field general Brad Ausmus.
